iPoker 4.3 Installer

Choose this slower option if you have not previously run an iPoker 4 Installer or Updater, or if you are not sure.

1. Click the button above to start copying iPoker 4.3 Installer.zip to your Desktop.
   
   • This is a big file and it will take a while to download, depending on Internet traffic and your connection speed.
      
   • When the download finishes, your browser should automatically unzip iPoker 4.3 Installer. If it doesn't, just open it yourself.
      
2. Open the iPoker 4.3 Installer icon and follow the Installer's instructions.
    
   • This will create (or replace) the iPoker 4 folder inside your Applications folder and install all available iPoker options into it.
      
3. Open the iPoker application's icon from this folder to play The Ultimate Poker Simulation.
    
   • You can drag the iPoker application's icon into your Dock for quicker access.
     
   • You can either trash or archive the installer file(s) from your Desktop.

iPoker 4.3 Updater

Update Only - 6.3 MB

Choose this faster option only if you have previously run an iPoker 4 Installer, and you still have an existing iPoker 4 folder in your Applications folder.

1. Click the button above to start copying iPoker 4.3 Updater.zip to your Desktop.
   
   • When the download finishes, your browser should automatically unzip iPoker 4.3 Updater. If it doesn't, just open it yourself.
      
2. Open the iPoker 4.3 Updater icon and follow the Installer's instructions.
    
   • This will replace the iPoker application and any updated files inside your iPoker 4 folder.
     
   • You can either trash or archive the installer file(s) from your Desktop.

This Version:

• Still uses iPoker 3 Activation Codes.

• Will not interfere with an iPoker 3 installation.

What's New?

• For a limited time, this is a free upgrade for iPoker 3 customers.

• Universal Binary version runs natively on newer Intel-based Macs and older PowerPC-based Macs. If you're curious, iPoker 4 is built with Xcode and iPoker 3 was built with CodeWarrior.

• Converted from Pascal (a procedural language) to C++ (an object-oriented one). This constitutes a major rewrite of code that is as much as 20 years old, and it lays the groundwork for future work.

• New Quartz graphics in the Standings window. This is just the start of a migration away from QuickDraw.

• Improved HTML-based report windows (using Web Kit now).

• Hundreds of minor improvements.

Please note that due to the scope of this project, the goals of iPoker 4 are modernization and parity with iPoker 3's feature set. Please use the Send Feedback command on iPoker's Help menu to submit any bug reports.
